Summer is coming in Janesville WI

The first farmer's market of the season is almost here for Janesville.  Market vendors are gathering, benches unfolding, produce and crafts on display.  Sure sign of summer approaching.  I know I may sound a little too optimistic, but I assure you it is not my fault!  I like the summer and I enjoy the farmer's markets, so I am naturally eager for that season to start.  See you at the market!

Trip to Greece May 2015

As some of you know Paeleon and Grebe's put together a trip to Greece in October 2014.  The trip was 9 days long and during that time we focused on the province of Laconia (Sparta area).  Among other places we visited my olive groves, an olive oil press, medieval time castles and churches, an olive museum, a vineyard, a bakery and a pasta factory.  We went swimming in the Mediterranean, took cooking classes, tasted delicious food and of course we ended up with the Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Ancient Agora in Athens.  .  

The trip was so much fun that we are already getting ready for the next one, which is scheduled for the beginning of May 2015!

Though it may seem a long time until May, we have to have the trip completely planned out by the beginning of January in order to make arrangements with airline tickets, hotels and guides and book at reasonable rates.
